This has been an issue in the USA for quite a few years at local
level, but the Republicans are getting more extreme.

Here in NZ it could fit with National's view that education should be
very restricted regarding sex ed; but they would have a fight with ACT
    who are more libertarian.

The rules allow parents to remove their children from sex education in schoool presumably to provide it at home. That is what Ms Willis is saying also, so I have no idea what Rich is on about unless he is being supportive of Ms Willis.

This is so typical of the irrational negativity you have towards the

You mistake what I said - all I asserted is that I am just as
politically neutral as Tony. Whether you believe that is an assertion
of political neutrality is up to you - Tony certainly makes an
assertion that he is politically neutral . . .

So Willis did not say anything about removing it from the curriculum?

Yes she and/or Chris Luxon did, but I was unable to find a link in the
time I was prepared to give it.
It does not exist. They never said that.

It is a while ago; I recall that Chris Luxon was reported as saying
    much the same thing.

So he also said nothing about that.

This is so typical of the irrational negativity you have towards the >>National party. This is right up there with your conversion to a >>self-described politically-neutral commentator.
You mistake what I said - all I asserted is that I am just as
politically neutral as Tony. Whether you believe that is an assertion
of political neutrality is up to you - Tony certainly makes an
assertion that he is politically neutral . . .
I am, Crash is, you are not.

Normally I am neutral in respect of National and Labour (I have long
advocated that NZF is a worthless vanity party - about 15 years past
its use-by date). However I am adamant about the repeal of the Water
reforms legislation and only National is committing to do that. So
for this election I am advocating that Labour be consigned to
    opposition.

Fair enough. I just want this government gone. That is not in any way for political reasons, it is because they are anti-democracy and have almost no talent.
