    Amazing - they say it was in the Garage when it caught fire; it cannot
    have been easy to move out onto the driveway . . .

    Interesting comments - there have been a few large scale disasters,
    and also some fires from ebikes in apartments, but it seems there may
    have in fact been very few such incidents - they just get very well
    reported.

    There have been a lot of hybrids around for years, and despite the
    figures in the article I have only heard reports of a fire recently in
    a fairly new large Mercedes.

    I still believe the case for shutting down an industry is not yet
    justified, but I guess I am more pro-business than some.

    Nonsense. Nobody is suggesting shutting down the EV industry, the supporters of the climate emergency scam are however suggesting the shutting down of the ICE industry and you support that apparently in hiding your head in the sand.
