It looks as though this Bill is proceeding in a very measured way,

This is not a simple process; or simple legislation, but the aim seems >reasonable - we have seen for example that uncontrolled manufacture
and sale of non-approved recreational drugs pose a real threat to many
young people. I do not claim expertise in this Bill, but I have not
seen for example any protests from Dr Shane Reti who is on that
Committee to the process being used.
I am heartened that the Petition does not appear to be widely
supported - it contains no new information.

Therapeutic treatment is as traditional as anything can be and has nothing whatsoever to do with recreational drugs.
