• Trend still towards Labour bloc slightly ahead

It looks as though the Talbot Mills poll was a bit of an outlier, but
there is little difference between the two blocs - with Labour / Green
still ahead on the trend line.

    Commentary from Gerard Otto:
National CRASH in polls back to Luxon's early days.

No wonder Jordan Williams at the Tax Avoiders Union was gutted the
other day about this Curia poll released today - because it's the
lowest Party Vote for National since January 2022 shortly after
    Christopher Luxon took the reigns.

In early December 2021 Curia placed National on 32.6% only one week
after Christopher Luxon had become leader of the National Party - and
by January 2022 National were on 33% according to Curia.

Look at them now on 33.3%

Christopher Luxon said only this morning that National had made great
progress since he started as leader but - it turns out that is another
    lie.

Nobody in our media has reported it.

There's basically been no improvement for National after 18 months of Christopher Luxon in the job according to Curia.

    What a waste of time.

Worse the NZ Herald refused to report these facts after making a big
song and dance in their headlines about Labour crashing in an earlier
    Talbot Mills Poll released yesterday.

Today Claire Trevett looked the other way - and ignored how National
had the worst result in a Curia Poll since January 2022 - possibly in
order to help build momentum for her favoured political party.
If G News were to attach fanciful rationales to the big dip in
National's fortunes ( like the Press Gallery does to Labour ) it
would be that decent New Zealanders have long expected National to
crash back to being where they were when Judith was leader - after
National lied and fibbed to them about the outcomes, spun lies about
the drivers of inflation, and indulged in obvious dirty
politics...attacking Labour Ministers about fairly trivial issues that
    happened years ago.

"This poll shows New Zealanders will not tolerate dirty politics and
this dirty politicking probably has a lot to do with people thinking
we are heading in the wrong direction", said G from G News.
Yes the big crash has come - back to the start of the reset for
National, all that wasted time in small halls, bugging people, and all
those silly photo opportunities and excuses for bad policies.
After National released twenty policies they are back to square one
cos people are not that thick and rejecting the science on reoffending
    is wrong.

National are falling apart and are broken.

No wonder National people are feeling like losers again.

    The numbers do not lie.

But the media does tell half truths to tilt the table.

National CRASH in polls back to Luxon's early days.

You are deluded and you are a supporter of the Labour party. In fact my bet is that you are a fully paid up member of Labour or an even more left wing party.

Your back to the political rhetoric Rich. There goes your political
neutrality claims Rich though I do concede that in the lead-up to this
general election I am not neutral as well.

The reality is that neither Labour/Greens or Nat/Act have clear leads
but the Maori Party have lifted their polling levels to just over the
5% threshold which gives Labour/Greens/Maori the edge.

My claim was "Like Tony and some others posting to nz.general, I do
not support any particular political party", and that remains the
truth. That followed a similar claim from Tony. At this stage I may
well vote for a different party in the party vote than the party that

Tony never criticises National or ACT - he is clearly partisan.
That is a lie. I criticised National several times when they were in power, especially the last term. But you wouldn't see that as relevant would you?
And for balance, note that I rarely if ever criticise opposition parties because they have no real influence (except in rare circumstances), so there is no point. And you never criticise Labour or Greens.
I am not partisan and you are a childish fool to continue this silly nonsense when all you have is guesswork, you don't actually know me and yet you make stupid assumptions about my allegiances.
I have no political allegiances and if I did, why on earth would I deny it? You should be proud of your obvious allegiances to left wing parties, if you are not proud of that then you are dishonest.

Your back to the political rhetoric Rich. There goes your political >>>neutrality claims Rich though I do concede that in the lead-up to this >>>general election I am not neutral as well.

My claim was "Like Tony and some others posting to nz.general, I do
not support any particular political party", and that remains the
truth. That followed a similar claim from Tony.

You simply cannot comprehend the fact that Tony does not consistently
post in support of any particular party in the same way that you do
Rich. You often start a thread that in one way or another extols what
you see as the virtuous attributes that Labour or the Greens have. I
don't recall Tony ever doing this and neither do I. You interpret our >opposition the Labour actions in government as partisan support for
National or Act. It is not.
Tony never criticises National or ACT - he is clearly partisan.

    At this stage I may
well vote for a different party in the party vote than the party that
my preferred electorate MP belongs to. Some would claim that makes me
a swinging voter. I do think it highly unlikely that either ACT or
Labour will attain government without forming a coalition with one or
    more other parties.

The reality is that neither Labour/Greens or Nat/Act have clear leads
but the Maori Party have lifted their polling levels to just over the
5% threshold which gives Labour/Greens/Maori the edge.
