Audrey has been one of the most consistent supporters of the National
Party, but there comes a point where some important issues do need to
be covers - even if only for the good of the Party.

No different to the way the Labour party works, and all other parties for that matter.

One of the things expected of the Leader of the Opposition is that
they hold the PM (or acting PM) to account in Parliament. The fact
that Hipkins is out of the country while Parliament is sitting is
irrelevant, this is expected. Parliament is a bear pit and always has
been - every PM or acting PM can expect to be exposed in this way.

Luxon has, in the past, been criticised by many commentators of
'lacking mongrel'. He is damned if he does and damned if he does not.

That is possibly true, but whatever is going wrong, having a
journalist like Audrey Young; effectively with an insider knowledge of
National Party objectives, methods and aspirations, saying this needs
fixing quickly. If Nicola Willis was seen as being better there would
have been speculation about National 'doing an Ardern', but the
article reflects concerns I have heard from many supporters of
    National.

    Idle speculation at best.
