• Precious, faux outrage

Pre European Maori were known to cut the heads of their defeated enemies, and preserve them for keepsakes. These "Mokomai" were trophies, kept on display and mocked.

Yet to use an image of a Maori face and moko is now some sort of cultural affront?

    Yet another revisionist, made-up offense.

It appears that at least some Maori have embraced the concept of
Copyright and applied it to tribal imagery. The outrage of said Maori
may well be dealt to by a payment for the right to use.

    Easily fixed by rights payment.
