• Labour's answer to a complete prick of a Kainga Ora tenant?

Move it next door to its next victim.

Megan Woods and Kainga Ora need to go.

Lefties love to hate on private landlords, but the worst landlord by far in NZ is the NZ government.

Correct and when a community objects to new Kainga Ora housing being
built they are accused of being NIMBYs and/or racist.

One unanswered question is that many allegations made by the victims
in these cases are clearly the result of criminal behaviour. Instead
of complaining to Kainga Ora (or any other landlord) surely the first
course of action is to call the Police?

How do we know that this has not been done already? and nothing effective
    has happened?

The advantage of getting to the landlord is that they can get the anti-social tenants moved on.

I would doubt that the Police have the power to move the tenants on without
a court order, or Tennancy ruling to leave.

The Police should/and must be independant of the Government. If criminal activity is happening then this needs to be addressed.

For eviction the tenancy laws apply.

In all the complaints I have seen reported, criminal activity is
involved - mostly violence and/or intimidation.

For eviction the tenancy laws apply.

Seems Kainga Ora is yet to realise this.
