• Some real progress - our money at work

Well done on getting this temporary fix done ahead of schedule.

There are other posts that demonstrate that our money is being well
spent, and that these are not just knee-jerk repairs - the ability to
re-use materials using a new road surfaacing process is also
    impressive.

None of this money was budgetted - it is all emergency response. With
National banging on about an extra million a day, this $250 million is
getting on for that on its own; let alone the money now needed for
Tasman and Auckland - and resilience preparations elsewhere.

We can be grateful for the good fiscal management over the last eight
years that has fixed so much left to deteriorate over National's term
    - but still the reresentatives of the wealthy bitch about tax cuts for
    the wealthy.

How many billions of dollars has our national debt increased during the last 3 years?
    Do tell.

I would have expected that the highway would have been repaired, that in
LTNZ job for would the road users pay for.

Yes we Get it, as Google says.

I don't represent any wealthy but know full well that any tax cuts will benefit everyone not as you lie just the wealthy! You've had this lie shot down so bloody much I'd have thought even a fucking imbecile like you would understand it's just a lie from
the worst government in NZ history!

btw wtf is a reresentative? A new word in the left's newspeak dictionary?
