i'm fully aware of Wikipedia and how it operates. I also know it's about the least reliable source of facts! You have had this explained to you in the past but as usual it delicately wafted over your head and was beyond your comprehension skills.
Now how about you actually attack the claims in the video rather than your extreme left wing habit of abusing the authors!

I used to think that Wikipedia was a useful point of reference, as in
balanced. Howevever as we have seen with Twitter, Fackbook and other large co-orporations they are screwing things around in the back ground while
giving a false impression of we are just controlling mis-information. They
want you, the non thinking person to think that they can be trusted.

Right now I am not at all sure of who to trust.

Wikipedia would be the most authoritive and trustworthy publication
because of the practice and prolific use of cites. I use cites as a
way of verifying the legitimacy of what is said. In the few areas I
consider myself an expert (mainframe software development) their
articles are accurate. No-one is ever perfect but for Wikipedia to be
wrong requires an orchestration of cites.

Anybody who trusts Wikipedia is deluded. It is as reliable as most of the internet including the search engines, and that is almost not at all.

I have not asserted that Wikipedia is entirely reliable; but it does
have facilities for wrong information to be corrected, and in te case
of this entry there are a number of references from which the

Right now I am not at all sure of who to trust.

Anybody who trusts Wikipedia is deluded. It is as reliable as most of the >>>internet including the search engines, and that is almost not at all.

As I suggested, read the articles referred to in the Wiki article -
then think again about teh unsupported assertions about James Lindsay
No. My main contribuition to this thread is about your silly belief that >Wikipedia is entirely reliable, and you argument as to why is specious.
I have not asserted that Wikipedia is entirely reliable; but it does
have facilities for wrong information to be corrected, and in te case
of this entry there are a number of references from which the
statements are derived. Perhaps you could address any problem you
think there are in the article . . .

It is normal in situations such as this to pick/show why the other person
point of view is wrong as you see it. We all have a different reality, point
of view, and just saying Go read the article is abit like saying Go read the Treaty of Waitangi.

We have facilities for wrong informantion to be corrected regarding Covid as
an example. However this is yet to be done. Having a process does not mean
that it is carried out. (The recent Waka jumping exercise).

The Government's narrative on Covid had the phase "safe and effective" ,
"We are the one scoure of truth". Neither of these were true, so one could
not trust the Government on this matter.
