    Note that petrol engines are 50 times more likely to catch on fire than EVs. Also hybrids are way up the curve. Over twice as likly as petrol powered
    cars.

    Interesting data.
    The concern I have (about fires) is the reason the Norwegian company have made a rule - the difficulty in putting out EV battery fires. It is not the statistical likelihood of fires that concerns me (or them).

    Agreed, the battery fires in EV vehicles are very hard to put out which
    needs to ne taken into consideration. The case of it might not happen that often but if/when it does it is going to be serious.
