Labour seems to be in a situation where one hand isn't doing what the other hand thinks it is. I like to see this because it means Labour is busy screwing itself still!

    Neither would I.
But it concerns me quite a bit. Is it becuse they believe they have the right and/or duty to follow through the totally corrupt interpretation of the treaty or is it because they feel invulnerable?
    Or something even more sinister?
There are lots of people watching this, much more than a few months ago.

It does not matter too much as long as voters are bright enough to see
the Labour water reforms for what they are. Co-governance is an
attack on democracy and an entrenchment of elite Maori at the expense
of ordinary citizens and ratepayers (regardless of their race).

Part of the problem is that either Labour don't believe the english treaty is good and are hell bent to make the supposed Maori translation of the treaty as the version the Maori elite want them to believe. This can only end in tears...
