Estimated cost $1400 million, cost cutting $100m. That extra 7%, is nothing more than inflation, which has been caued by this Government. Leaving this aside. It is folly to cut out the expansion/upgrade part of the building.
The extra MRI and operation rooms will be used. If they thought they were needed in the orginal plan then they are still needed.
Health affects everyone.
To me this is just another back off, collect the votes gamblet which we see
all too often.
