A good book review - hopefully it will encourage a lot of people to
read to book; it covers issues that quite a few posters to nz.general clearly misunderstand, but which are important for the future of our country.

Rubbish! We need to work together NOT give one race extra privileges!

Linking the conspiracies about Maori to other conspiracies is fair; we
have seen that the greed of the wealthy has impoverished too many in
our country; and the dishonesty of those peddling conspiracy theories
and plain lies about many issues should be concerning to us all; but
to sideline a sizeable percentage of our population through racism is particularly sad.

The so called conspiracies are a damn sight closer to the truth than anything you, Labour or the Greens broadcast! Looks like a book from another academic who needs to get out of his ivory tower and look at the real world. You need to do it a well Rich.

What really is needed is for NZ to back up to where it was in 2017 and move forward from there, at present we are on the road to pre 1840. This is more important than the history as this can be "worked through" once this is
done. It is important that we review the history and get to an
understanding, but this will be near impossible in a civil war, or hightened tensions.

This dividing by race which the present Government has done just about the worse thing it could have done.

I have seen very little racism aimed at Maori. I have seen very little European animosity to Maori.
I live in a predominantly Maori, gentle and peaceful community where all races work well together nearly all the time, except when politicians get in the way. I am sorry if your experiences are different but maybe you should look inward.. I have read the book and it does not in any sense argue for co-governance or the behaviour of the current government.
Co-governance is racism but not aimed at Maori - it is aimed at everybody else. Politics fixated on co-governance is evil, and was enabled by the last Prime Minister. Possibly unintended but likely deliberate.

If we don't there will be bloodshed.
