• Hipkins on Hosking this morning

From JohnO@21:1/5 to All on Mon Mar 27 13:15:43 2023
Can't be long before Chippie does an Ardern and stops fronting. Listening to the interview was like witnessing a baby seal being clubbed this morning.

Hipkins, former Minister of Health, did not appear to know what "Ramping" is, in a hospital context:

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/03/27/ambulances-waiting-up-to-1-hour-to-drop-off-hospital-patients/

Chippie is a complete lightweight. No better than Ardern.

Any PM is not going to have a deputy who thinks that the PM is a fine
    person.

What we are not seening is the honeymoon period starting to end. Got rid of
the vote demolishing policies and now time to defend/sell the rest.

It is taking Labour a very long time to get rid of 3-waters
legislation. That is by far the biggest vote-loser and no government
has ever repealed (or promised to repeal) any legislation that they
    passed into law.

Are Labour committed to removing 5 Waters? I have not heard anything concrete. They are also proceeding with RMA reform that is even worse than 5 Waters in its overreach.

IIRC it is under review but they cannot 'fix' or 'dump' it as it is
has been enacted. The policies dumped were all future intents.
