Oh goodie, that's all right then. What a stupid thing to say.

Change of PM but no change in the useless buggers he's made cabinet ministers...

Good to know that the need for replacements was recognised long enough
ago that the investigations have been done, options assessed, and
orders placed. Do keep u[; the Labour government is making things
happen, even while we have been going through the Covid crisis and now

What failure? There have been a number of break-downs on the ferries
(from both companies). The current government had already acted to get
new ships and informed people of that - no failure; why are you going
off topic again about political advantage, Tony?

The failure is the one I pointed out in my first post on this subject, I used the English language in the hope that most people would understand.
    Clearly you did not.
His comment "The minister however says people need to know that we have two new ships

No it does not. It is a reasonable response, and indicates that thei government is on the ball. The ferry operators filed - fixing a
problem with the ferries is not part of a politicians job, that work
was underway - what would have been a 'succesful" comment in your

It was political bullshit that doesn't resolve the current problems Rich! A reasonable comment would be along the lines of the solution when the seamen used to strike at holiday time. Call in the RNZAF!

Some compassion for the stranded passengers would have been appropriate.
Once more you cannot keep on topic.
This is not about a ferry failure, you cretin, it is about the failure of the minister to address the plight of the passengers.
