It is better to follow the earthquake folks. There is a x% chance of a an earthquake in the next year. So it is totally possible that several many cyclone will hit one after the other (in a short period of time).
The weather also has patterns. Kevin is chasing Judy (Cyclones) across the ocean. Thise are after Hale and Gabrielle.
There are long term and shorter cycles.
Now, this missing data is of great concern. Trump followers/supporters suggest that there is some large adjustment of the historical data to get things to fit in with the narrative.
