    Yes. Guess some get a bit exercised when bad weather hits and any memory of past weather just isn't retained in their memory. Sure this info is outside the memory or experience of most posters here but it's always a good idea to check facts before making
    extravagant claims about 'man made' climate change. It'd be interesting to find out if any underwater eruptions occured north of NZ around that time...
