    No surprise that this would be Japan. Many Japanese companies have 50 year strategic plans. Compare that to the USA where very few have even 5 year plans. I once asked the president of a large IT company what their strategic plan was and he answered "survival".
    Dear me, what a contrast. I worked with a number of very senior Japanese employees of large American companies who were frustrated by the lack of forward thinking. Hardly surprising therefore that Americans so often vote idiots into the White House.
