Robertson claims government is in good position to cover cyclone costs. Is he aiming to make 2023 have an even higher record of government debt?

Funny how some think $128 billion is okay yet the same someone got excited when John Key's government had it at $52. Yet they're quite happy to let future generations pay back what Grant Robinson squandered over covid and what will be borrowed to cover
    cyclone damage...

Hypocrisy is best done by someone and Labour surely :)

Very happy thanks Jon Bowes - they show that New Zealand has kept our
debt to GDP ration lower than most countries despite the international
problems the world has experienced in recent years due to Covid and
War - we will certainly increase debt this year - and GDP may even
fall. Already there are calls from businesses to assist companies
following the storm and flooding damage - are you advocating that they
    be ignored?

Gee somebody. You do love highlighting your hypocrisy :)
How about all those future generations you bleated about because of the debt National left Labour with? Or is it that in your scientific way it's Labour good, National bad as usual and damn the unfortunate facts?! :)
