Yes chaps, a Security Bug in Intel CPUs which a Micro Code Update
cannot fix..
OS security fixes coming which may slow down you PC by up to 30% if it
has a Intel CPU..
Read all about it in that Pommy Mag.. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/01/02/intel_cpu_design_flaw/

The news is true.
It's on the Apple news websites like
AppleInsider.com and MacRumors.com, and also affects any other
cmpputers with Intel CPUs, whether that Windoze or Linux.
Maybe Apple should have stuck with PowerPC chips (the new so-called
"Amiga" still, uses them!).
I didn't say the news wasn't true (or that I wasn't already aware of
it). My point is I'd rather not get my news from someone who randomly capitalises letters, spells 'allowed' as "aloud" and despite this
still considers himself to be a "Tall Poppy".

Then you should have been more clear in your original reply what 'this nonsense" was.

Apple has reportedly already partially fixed the issue in OS update
10.13.2, with further fixes due in 10.13.3.

I thought it was self-evident in the OP. <shrug> Then again I appreciate the English langauge.
