• Annoying Win File Explorer views fix

From geoff@21:1/5 to All on Mon Dec 10 10:08:47 2018
Annoyed with those special custom views in File Explorer when you look
at folders with media file, and would prefer just the normal columns ?

Copy the text below the asterisk line into Notepad, and save with the
filename "Folder Reset.reg" or similar "whatever.reg".

Double-click the REG file to update registry and voila, you'll get the
File Explorer columns you want instead of the Album/Artist/Track/balaa
blaa blaa that many of us don't want.

If you like all that media-specific stuff don't do this, though they can
be manually reinstated with custom view settings.

    cheers

Ok thanks, I've not encountered it but made a note of the fix.
