[Dialog] Alternate "Select Post" method for copying "Selected" articles

Other then multi-selcting using [Shift]-[Click], is there a way to
mark hundreds of messages/posts for copying to a text file?
I need to mark a huge amount of non-consective messages and if my
Shift key bounces or other navigation/selections are pressed, I will
lose all previously selected posts. I need a more static and
long-lasting marker as choosing these posts will take hours.
I guess the other option is to set up a "Copy To" button in a
toolbar or as macro for each individual post but I would rather mark
them all somehow first.
