(what is the NG i was wondering about earlier?)

in novaBBS, the location of the [Reply] button is a bit confusing.

it's not confusing when i'm replying to the Msg at the very bottom,

but it gets slightly confusing when i'm replying to a MSG appearing in the middle somewhere.

If you mean the Reply button, it's at the bottom of every message.

Bordering on [idiot-proofing], one solution would be...

when my cursor hovers on the [Reply] button ,

to have a box appear that says... [Reply to the above post]

We might need a feature that limits the use of the space bar and Enter key.

The White Dog is an X-Face bitmap. Rslight supports posting and displaying x-face:
