HOw do I in slrn filter out all google-groups postings? These bombings
of the newnet groups is making groups useless.

This site is now a few years old, but its GG filter for slrn may still work.

    My setup at /var/spool/slrnpull/news/score:

    %BOS
%Score created by slrn on Mon Oct 9 15:25:16 2023

    [*]
    Score: -9999
    Injection-Info: .*google-groups\.googlegroups\.com
    X-Trace: posting\.google\.com

    [*]
    Score: -9999
    Injection-Info: .*google-groups\.googlegroups\.com

    %EOS

I put both methods with and without X-Trace
    just to be safe.

Seems just Blinky just died the other day, scary that it has been well
    over a decade...

I read that web page. Starting off your proposal with insults of the
users of Usenet does not help your cause. YMMV. IMHO.
