    Hi all,

Does someone know the current location of the news.newusers.questions
homepage? We currently reference <http://www.anta.net/misc/nnq/> in
INN's FAQ but it seems to no longer work. I'd like to update it.

I see a mirror here <https://wijnands.home.xs4all.nl/nnq/> but is there
    still a master homepage?

The Wayback Machine seems to have it still; for example on 22/10/2016 <https://web.archive.org/web/20161022161147/http://www.anta.net/misc/nnq/>.

Thor Kottelin, head moderator for news.newusers.questions was the owner
of the anta.net domain name and maintained that web site. I have not
received a response from him for a very long time, and I think possibly
someone else now owns the domain name. The old WhoIs info for the
domain name properly showed a Finnland address which unfortunately I did
not save; the info now has a California address and name shows "Super
Privacy Service" rather than Thor's name.

I will take a look at the page Whiskers found and see if I can't come up
with a homepage for the group. I'll post back here and let you know.

Thanks a lot! I hope you'll manage to host the homepage again.
According to the timestamp of the page Whiskers found, the previous
homepage hosted in anta.net stopped working very recently (at least, it
was still up in October 2016).

    Julien,

It turned out that I had the files for Thor's pages on my computer, so I
have updated them slightly and they are now available at <http://www.tokak.us/nnq>.

I haven't had time to go through them thoroughly to check for broken
links and outdated material, but at least there is something back up
again. The mirror page that you had found is a very old one and out of
date, and the German language version probably also needs some updating.
I'll be trying to contact the maintainers of those sites.

Oh, many thanks for having taken time to make the site available again.
The link in INN's FAQ (question 1.1) now reflects the new link:
