    I'm trying to find a list of usenet groups that are still active.

    Anyone know of a recent updated list?

    I occasionally run reports on the news server that I run of active
    newsgroups. Here's a few I just pulled:
    https://github.com/tgeek77/UsenetReport

    Be aware that I don't carry "binary" newsgroups and I have no way to
    account for which articles may be spam.

    a spammer looking for news groups ?
