    Hi,

My news server has been down for 12 days due to a software upgrade that required rebuilding the overview database.

If you are able please respond publicly, ideally a few people can feed
me to ensure full coverage for my users.

Using inn it will be something like this:

    /usr/local/news/bin/convdate -n '11 Nov 2019 00:00 +0000' '24 Nov 2019
    14:00 +0700'

    cd <pathdb in inn.conf>
    perl -ne 'chomp; our ($hash, $timestamps, $_) = split " "; \
    my ($arrived, $expires, $posted) = split("~", $timestamps); \
    print "$_\n" if $_ and $arrived >= 1573430400 \
    and $arrived <= 1574578800' history \
    | tr . / > csiph.com/list
    innxmit server list

    Regards,
    Kevin

I don't recognize CSIPH as a current peer. But I'm happy to peer with
you. Once we have that worked out, I'm willing to try to feed you back articles.

Please email me directly so we can discuss details.

My server (and probably others servers) have spooled old posts
    automatically. Are thez dropped?

In inn.conf, you can set artcutoff at 0

Could you drop all binaries from the feed with my server (pasdenom.info)?

    Best regards,

I have the article cutoff set longer. I did lose a few of the early
spooled articles due to cutoffs hence the request to refeed.

I do have cleanfeed set up to drop bins, please mail me privately if you
    want to exchange info there.

Sent you an email last night.

Thus far none of my peers have done as requested so still hoping for help.

My feed (from news.weretis.net) to your server is configured with
unlimited spool, so you should already get all the missing postings. Can
you confirm this or do you still need some manual re-feed?

    Bye
    Daniel

I need a refeed of the first couple days for certain, I am missing some articles on the main NG the server is used for.

Will I need to set "remembertrash" to false for this if they were
    rejected due to artcutoff age?

    ACK

    I've replied.

It looks like peering is up.

innxmit is now feeding articles to you.

innxmit finished processing ~200k articles for you.

    Return Code of 0.

Let me know if you want anything else.

I think it is to late, when those articles already have been rejected,
the are already recorded in the history (because "remembertrash" has
    been true).

Luckily I had a log of all the rejected messages for "Too old" error

Julien Elie gave me some instructions and Grant Taylor was able to send
me all the missing articles. news.software.nntp for details.

    So I'm all caught up.

    Kevin
