  • Mixmin again reachable via IPv6

    Hello!

    It seems that Hetzner also unblocked Hetzners IPv6 address, it is
    reachable again by IPv6, but doesn't allow unauthenticated posting.

    What does it allow then for a normal person who is on a newsreader so
    they'd go to news.mixmin.net:119 and they don't know about ivp6?

    It was blocked in the past by the hoster because Mixmin was an open
    news relay.
    Hosts use IPv6 by default if available and this resulted in a timeout.
    Because peering is also sometimes done with IPv6, this information
    might be relevant for nntp server operators too.
