    ddt.demos.su server is back and provides full fido7.* moderated newsgroups hierarchy gated from Fidonet. Feel free to write me your peer requests with
    to gatekeeper@fido7.org.

    Also, please update your "moderators" innd config file string to:

    fido7.*:%s@fido7.org <mailto:s@fido7.org>

    Next i will update the outdated PGP signatures for fido7.* hierarchy to
    manage the control messages with pgpcontrol, they will be announced later.

    Was it down?

    I just checked it, currently it works fine. It just runs an old-ass
    version of INN, BIND9 and sendmail.
    All these services should be upgraded due to security reasons.

    Yes, partially, and there were no more feeds left after neva.ru goes down.

    Because it is not Linux system but an UNIX which contains very old unix libs and dependependencies. Most of them are not workable on new OS.

    INN2, sendmail and BIND can run on current version.

    There are much more than just inn2, sendmail and bind. Lot of scripts and binaries compiled with old libs, they need to be rewritten first.
