    I run a full text feed Usenet server at www.i2pn2.org. This has much
    better retention than novabbs.org, which is really just for darknet
    use (i2p and tor).

    i2pn2.org requires an email address (disposable or whatever), then you
    have full access.

    No. AFAIK no free servers offer binaries. The software and media pirates
    and pedophiles would flood servers with their warez.

    i2pn2 is only available on clearnet, there is no i2p or tor access. Use news.novabbs.org for tor or i2p access.

    I haven't checked all the links given in the thread but with those I've
    checked (and in the thread) I haven't seen

    news2.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de
    news.cyber23.de
    paganini.bofh.team

    . informatik.uni only allows reading. cyber23 has had a period when it allowed reading and posting but now it's only reading. None of the 3
    requires registration.

    - freenews.netfront.net
    - news.grc.com

    paganini.bofh.team and freenews.netfront.net are general usenet servers.
    They have restrictions for posting, but I do not know what the
    restrictions are.

    GRC is a newsserver run by Steve Gibson with special own newsgroups.
    You can read the newsgroups also with a browser.
