Hi The Doctor,

Wouldn't it be a funnel_bad error instead?
What is the cause?
Check that the definition of "innfeed!" or like is right in your new >newsfeeds entries (no space after last line, right continuation lines
with "\"...), and of course that the entry for "innfeed!" exists.

Mecri!

Merci!! Vous avez raison.
It was a space just after innfeed!
Add that to the FAQ.

Actually, the issue is already mentioned in the newsfeeds man page:
"Extra whitespace can cause problems and should be avoided."
And the same man page also recommends:
"After any changes, run inncheck to perform basic syntax checks."
.. which would have given you:
% inncheck
/home/news/etc/newsfeeds:92: ends with whitespace >/home/news/etc/newsfeeds:90: undefined multiplex `innfeed! '
After changing configuration files, a best practice is to always run
inncheck :-)
P.-S.: I also agree that a possible move as for this error would be to
teach innd not to take into account trailing whitespace.

Well it is just a matter of grammar.
Hi The Doctor,
About the funnel_bad error you had last October:

innd no longer dies when encountering a trailing whitespace in a
newsfeeds entry. I hope it will save some time to others; that's not
easy to spot.
Will be present in tomorrow's snapshots and in INN 2.7.1.
As we already have accumulated useful bug fixes and a few enhancements
since the last release, I plan on working on making the INN 2.7.1 next
month.

Why INN won't just remove trailing whitespaces from the strings?
