  • Agency News - news.bbs.geek.nz - soon to cease resolving

    On 1 May 2018 Agency News changed its domain name and path token from news.bbs.geek.nz to news.bbs.nz while static IP addresses (IPv4 and IPv6) remained unchanged.

    The old domain name of news.bbs.geek.nz has remained resolvable since that
    time to allow systems plenty of time to cut over to the new domain name.

    This is a heads up that soon news.bbs.geek.nz will cease to resolve after
    mid January 2019.

    For systems that peer with Agency News can you please ensure you have news.bbs.nz as the domain name you are using in your configuration
    settings. This will also ensure that if I update IP address details your
    system will continue to resolve to the new IP addresses associated with
    Agency News.

    Current peering information is always available at www.news.bbs.nz/ peering.html

    Oops! Somehow I forgot to change that.
