It was, but it's back up. Their domain registration lapsed.

I am trying to reach spamcop.net only to see a redirected spam page.

    Please try again.

    Spamcop seems to be "unstable".
It sometimes works but sometimes produces

An error occurred while processing your request.

(Purportedly) the domain has been renewed.

Now it's a matter of cached copy of the expired information flushing out
    of DNS server caches.

    Does Spamcop really do anything?

The short answer is yes. I use their DNSbl (bl.spamcop.net) as part
    of my local SpamAssassin filtering.

    $ grep -ic spamcop mail/archive/spam-20*
    mail/archive/spam-2004:31126
    mail/archive/spam-2005:38760
    mail/archive/spam-2006:23087
    mail/archive/spam-2007:24249
    mail/archive/spam-2008:18065
    mail/archive/spam-2009:16226
    mail/archive/spam-2010:9120
    mail/archive/spam-2011:564
    mail/archive/spam-2012:301
    mail/archive/spam-2013:118
    mail/archive/spam-2014:220
    mail/archive/spam-2015:100
    mail/archive/spam-2016:156
    mail/archive/spam-2017:2576
    mail/archive/spam-2018:806
    mail/archive/spam-2019:1868
    mail/archive/spam-2020:2588
    mail/archive/spam-2021:72

Do note, each match on the string, spamcop, appears twice in the
results, as it does in the filtered messages.

If you wish to go beyond that, please elucidate.
