    Newsgroups are broken by neo-nazi administrators, You rarely see
    identical messages around the globe. This filtering and NoCem nonsense
    should stop and let users decide what they want to see and what not. the alternative is to have private servers where users join them to read and
    post only for that server. Peering should be blocked for those servers.
    Looking at it, that is where we are heading.

    Users can already do that. Just use a new server that does not honor the nocems that are being sent. They exist.

    Peering should be blocked for those servers.
    Looking at it, that is where we are heading.

    On the contrary, some news server admins appreciate the nocems, and express so in private communication. There will always be servers that don't use them (nocems), and that's a good thing too. It gives users a choice, which they is how things currently
    operate.
