I use Live Mail 2012 with Windows 10 and it works quite well.
In the left hand pane there is a "Storage folders" category, with a folder called "Recovered items".
Whenever I log on to my favorite News Group, it fills up with recovered files, which are merely places and message I have viewed. When about 20 or so of them have accumulated, I delete them one by one, and then I also have to empty the Deleted Item folder of the same messages.
What is the purpose of the Recovered folder and can I simply disable it. There is no help file, built in or anywhere else that I could find.
Thanks,
Sam Hagen

*** Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, Live Mail is the only
Email client that has the " Remove Formatting" functionality, which
strips all those annoying indents and >>> marks from forwarded
Emails and News Group messages. Seem that every time Microsoft
"improves" a product, a lot of very convenient stuff goes the way
of the Dodo. Outlook Express was my favorite in functionality and
ease of use and the person who allowed it to be discontinued
should be .....
Thanks ...
