I've just been reading alt.os.linux on my UseNet account and, it seems, Google is changing the method of logging into Google .... and some
aren't impressed.
That got me wondering ..... I know, maybe ten years ago, there was a FireFox-based OS for mobile phones. If it is still under development,
that might be a way of circumventing this move by Google.
Is Firefox OS still under development??

According to https://www.ghacks.net/2020/03/14/firefox-os-successor-mozilla-and-kaios-announce-partnership/
it was abandoned in 2016. The article is two years old and implies
that the code lives on as KaiOS.
