I looked at the full list and I can't believe that "weird",
"fluorescent" or "minuscule" didn't show up even once....r

I'm dubious because the most misspelled word in Wisconsin was reported to be "Wisconsin". Okay, it's Wisconsin, but still ...

I was on a Disney cruise where a comedian was teasing the signer for a deaf couple because of how long it took to sign
"supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" ... a word he said a gratuitous number
of times. I suggested that the three of them agree on a short-cut, like
"S!", and the next time, use that, and then just look up at the comedian and smile.

I can well imagine the possibility that the people who prepared the list
didn't even realise that "wierd" and "miniscule" are spelling errors.

I don't recall seeing common misspellings of "fluorescent", though.
Perhaps that's because poor spellers rarely have a need to use the word.

'miniscule' appears to have been around for so long that it is probably accepted as a valid variant: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/miniscule
