I-70 should end in San Rafael California, replacing I-580, I-205 and CA-120. Continuing west from Cove Fort, it would join I-15 North from Cove Fort to Holden. From there, it would run concurrent with US-50 and US-6 going through Ely and the rest of
Nevada until it reaches Lee Vining in California. It would be located south of CA-120 which goes through Yosemite. West of Yosemite, I-70 would replace I-205 and I-580 in Modesto and Tracy. Once I-70 reaches the San Fransisco Bay Area it goes through
Oakland. I-70 Westbound then connects with I-80 Eastbound in Oakland, going through Emeryville, Berkeley and Richmond, and I-70 would then go through the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge, ending at the US-101 there.
