THE CORONA EGG-----
September 22, 2006, Friday night, 11:05 Pacific Time.
---A 44-year old construction supervisor-contractor is suing the
builders of ANY vertical lift bridges--specifically narrow road and all
of the railroad bridges, regardless of age in terms of being built,
because of the phallic shape of the lifting towers, which the
elevator-acting lift span can then go up and down to let, say, ships
pass beneath.
Mr.Stephen Bosell, of Corona, California, thinks that "the bridge
builders MEAN and MEANT well, but in just my humble opinion here they
went way too over the top", he said, as his lawyer Ms.Delores
Blasingame pointed out that "the towers, when viewed approaching the
bridge from a crossroad or road that's about to bend into the bridge --
or railroad -- or from, let's say, a boat, can be construed as phallic"
and Mr.Bosell, in a comment to the Egg, readily agreed. His argument
was: the bridge lift towers, except maybe in his part of California,
the 60+ year old Schulyer Heim vertical-lift bridge (the green one) in
Long Beach,LA Harbor (not to sure about that parrell one!), which
carried roads, or, "let's just say, Sacramento's "Tower Bridge, both of
which have vertical-lift towers that are are as phallic but say,
Brooklyn, NY's "Marine Parkway Bridge"", should be called Marine
Penisway Bridge". New York officials caught wind and were highly
offended by what they called Mr.Bosell's "loathsome analous to the male penis". "Bridgebuilders had squeaky-clean notions in mind when they
buikld those" said one anymous civil enginer and college teacher from
New Jersey. "They were not meant to offend anyone". Mr.Bosell differs.
"My wife was pleasuring herself to a picture of the Marine Parkway
bridge, NY, the Martinez (Calif. Suisun Bay, north east of the San
Fransisco Bay area, a extension of said bay), and older, non existent southern San Fransisco Bay (demolished since 1984 and replaced with a
new, higher fixed bridge with no truss) Dumbarton bridge, and panting",
Steve said. He is married to April Bosell, and is father of Ashley, 14,
April Jr., 13m, Cynthia, 7, and Steve Jr.15 and is angry even at 1900s bridges that have this shape.
"I am not personally against people driving or railroading across said bridges", he says, "but these bridges have drawbridge towers that are
causing sexual desire". Steve Bosell pointed out, in another case, that
the curved top appearances of the tops of the "Marine Parkway Bridge"
in Brooklyn,NY, completed with a 540 foot span, in 1937, is offensive
in the most notorious example, and "I had a nightmare about the bridge jacking off".
His neighbor Roy Hutchins and his wife have laughed at him. Worse is
Roy and Clifford Pettigre, a Bosell employee at B&B Construction in
Corona, Calif., have drawn a picture of a giant version of wife April
Bosell stradding some lift bridge tower and having sex with it.
Steve is suing all attempts to build these birdges and wants the older
ones replaced. He was, as a construction contractor, involved with that
job at a young age at his own company since 1982 at 21 after getting
out of Knoxville (his hometown), TN College, and and had been
moonlighting (earning a degree thusly) for a wehile with various
construction compnays, "and as a construction exexuctive I oughta know
about these bridgebuilders affairs", he said wryly and wisely at us,
and "believe me I ALSO got the Dumbarton repalced and earlier as a kid
in 1967 got the San Mateo Bridge repalced with a higher, less phallic
shaped one, at 7 in 1967!"
("Okay", he admits, smile at us, "THAT was an extension of my boats!")
Nevertheless, Steve Bosell is still suing vertical life bridgebuilders because of the phallic lift towers. He will not stop. He has also sued:
The Oscar Mayer (tm) food corp. for phallic dogs (2000)
The makers of "Pearl Harbour" (2001) because it is actually a fictional
story flick ala Titanic
