In this movie, there is a shootout at a toll plaza. In the movie it's referred to as "the causeway". The toll booths are very old fashioned looking.

Would anyone know if an actual road was used for this scene or was it
    all merely a set?

BTW, do they ever say where (what town) the family home was located?

mitchell field was the site used for the tollbooth scene--long beach was their residence,,

So if an outsider tried to walk-in after a uber rider, they are banned ??
