    Of course this would put alot of truckers out of business/work.

    If we had true socialism (no country ever has), where the people keep
    their collective output democratically, with no upper or lower classes,
    then taking trucks off the road would be great. Less work to go around.

    This ties up tractors in transit, which is why they ship trailers alone.
    The whole point of a semi rig is that a power unit doesnet get tied up
    with a single trailer, but can service a dozen a day if desired.
