Cracking Birdseye Satellite Imagery is not easy, but it is possible. In this article, we will show you how to do it using a few tools and some hacking skills. Disclaimer: This article is for educational purposes only. We do not condone or encourage any
illegal or unethical activities. Use this information at your own risk.

Step 1: Download BaseCamp and Birdseye Imagery
BaseCamp is a software that allows you to plan, organize and share your outdoor adventures with your Garmin device[^1^]. You can download it for free from the Garmin website. You will also need to download Birdseye Imagery files from BaseCamp via an
internet connection. To do this, follow these steps:

On BaseCamp's top menu bar, select Birdseye.
    Select Download Birdseye Imagery.
The BirdsEye wizard will help guide you to use different tools to select the right area and size.
Choose the device you want to send the imagery to.
Click Next and wait for the download to finish.

Note: You can download multiple images in one area to increase the coverage size. Overlapping the edges of each downloaded image helps ensure there are no gaps between[^1^].

Step 2: Locate the Birdseye Imagery Files on Your Device
The Birdseye Imagery files are stored on your device as .jnx files. They have a file name that is the same as the name you give the Birdseye within BaseCamp[^2^]. You can copy/move these files from your device to your hard drive using a USB cable or an
SD card reader. The location of these files may vary depending on your device model, but they are usually found in one of these folders:

    \Garmin\BirdsEye
    \Garmin\CustomMaps
    \Map

Step 3: Decrypt the Birdseye Imagery Files
The Birdseye Imagery files are encrypted using a proprietary algorithm that prevents them from being opened by other software or devices. To crack them, you will need to use a tool called JNXdecrypter. This is a command-line program that can decrypt .jnx
files using a brute-force method. You can download it from https://github.com/vasyabigi/jnxdecrypter. To use it, follow these steps:

Extract the JNXdecrypter.zip file to a folder on your hard drive.
Copy the .jnx files you want to decrypt to the same folder.
Open a command prompt window and navigate to the folder where JNXdecrypter.exe and the .jnx files are located.
Type JNXdecrypter.exe -d *.jnx and press Enter.
Wait for the program to run and try different keys until it finds the correct one.
If successful, the program will create decrypted .jnx files with a .dec extension in the same folder.

Step 4: Convert the Decrypted Birdseye Imagery Files to Other Formats
The decrypted .jnx files are still not usable by other software or devices. To make them compatible, you will need to convert them to other formats such as .kmz or .tif. To do this, you can use a tool called JNX2KMZ.
