I'm dismayed to hear this. There seems to be a general decreasing in civility--although I'm sure every generation says this.
I have usually had acceptable courtesey and been able to pry the information
I would like out of them w/o too much rancor...although there have been some unhappy ones, too.
Hope you give AMTRAK another try and hope they are nice.
