on the 26th / 27th I need to travel from Brno to Cologne. At 18:00 I
still need to be in Brno, at 15:00 the next day I need to be in Cologne.
It seems the best way to make it on time is via NJ 40490 (I want to get
some sleep during the night, so normal trains are not an option through
the night, spending the night in a hotel won't allow me to make it on
time by train; flights from Prague arrive too late, flights from Vienna
are too expensive).
So the following seems a reasonable choice:
Brno-Kralovo Pole departure 18:29
Brno hl.n. arrival 18:40
Brno hl.n. arrival 18:48
Wien Hbf arrival 20:23
Wien Hbf departure 20:41
Köln Hbf arrival 08:15
However, I wonder, if the R985 and IC 1037 are reliably on time.
Clearly, missing the connecting train in Brno hl.n. or Wien Hbf would be
P.S.: Where could I buy tickets for this trip? bahn.de won't give me a
price, oebb.at won't show me the connection.
