S-Bahn accident near Munich: Two S-Bahn trains collided near Schäftlarn
on Monday (February 14, 2022) at around 4:35 p.m.
One dead and many injured in the S-Bahn accident in the Munich district:
the police speak of a low, double-digit number of injuries and at least
one death.
Eyewitnesses report strange driving behavior on the S-Bahn , which was coming from Munich in the direction of Wolfratshausen. It was stopped
again and again."
So, the driver of the train approaching
the station activated braking and got to a stop about 50 metres after the entry signal. He started a phone discussion with the signalman. The pre-signal told the train would be allowed to enter the station, so there
was no overspeed.
