"The dangerous-looking accident took place in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Two
trains collided near the goods control room. It turned out that the
driver of one of the trains was drunk.
The accident happened at night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Dąbrowa
Górnicza in the Silesian Voivodeship. Two warehouses collided sideways
in the control room at Towarowa Street.
Four coke [wagons] derailed and two of them overturned sideways. Nobody
was hurt in the accident.
The police determined that one of the drivers ignored the red light of
the semaphore, which prohibits further driving on the track. It later
turned out that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The study
showed the presence of two per mille in his body - said Marcin Kasprzyk,
the press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Dąbrowa
Górnicza, in an interview with the website Naszemiasto.pl."
