It seems that there will be direct services between Luxembourg and Düsseldorf from December 2017 - does anyone know if this will be an extension of the Luxembourg-Koblenz service, or if it'll go via Liege/Aachen? And what is the advantage to CFL of
having their trains effectively working a German regional service?
    thanks in advance, Tim

They get paid for that. For the Moment, up to Koblenz.

Don't think trains will go via Liège as they wold need Belgian equipment, including for 3 kV DC.

    Best regards, ULF
