That makes no sense. If the partnership filed its 1065, it included all of the K-1's,
and there's no reason not to send out copies to the partners.
In my experience K-1's are often very late so you have to get an extension and wait for
them to show up. Any chance the managing partner is just slow and hasn't sent out K-1's at all?
Alternatively, they did file the 1065, there is no K-1 for the guy, so he wins, no partnership
income for the year.
