My monthly Fidelity statements of transactions show that foreign taxes
were paid on one of my investments (Brookfield Renewable Partners
L.P.; symbol BEP). Yet the 1099 tax form from Fidelity does not show
that particular investment paying any foreign taxes. Other
investments do show foreign taxes paid on the 1099.
The K-1 for Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. also does not show any
foreign taxes paid (box 21).
Who is supposed to show the foreign taxes paid?
