Because all the money laundering he's been involved wit
h since the 1980s with the Russian mafia is going to show up on his tax returns?

That's certainly the left and the NYT's hope. In the end,
at worst, this is a big nothing burger. At best, Trump played someone and this shows what he's been saying about the IRS all along.
Federal taxes paid, first year in office...

    Ronald Reagan: $165,202
    George H.W. Bush: $101,382
    Bill Clinton: $62,670
    George W. Bush: $250,221
    Barack Obama: $1,792,414
    Donald Trump: $750

    Seems legit.

Yep, but only if you are a grown-up with anything more than a
passing knowledge of how taxes work.

    4D Chess, right?

No, it's called "following the law."

    No, it's called tax fraud.

    It's called tax avoidance

Sorry. Devaluing your properties for tax purposes but at the same time
overvaluing them in order to acquire a bank loan is fraud.

What's important is what the law says.

The law says what Trump did was perfectly legal. Any self-
    employed person will know that.

Someone enslaved to a corporation? Won't. Therein lies the
    ignorance.
